FROM THE LELAND PROGRESS: Leland Juniors Class Play Is Set For Tonight The Leland High School Junior Class Will present its class play "Gone About Girls" at 8:00PM tonight in the W.E. Bufkin Auditorium. The comedy is directed by Miss Shirley Durham and Mrs. Syble Morgan. The cast includes Larry Chandler as a girl-struck boy, Roger Earl as his scholarly father, Louise Blackwell as his mother, Charles Merkel as his friend, Cappy Sterling and Nancy Lee Calhoun as their girl friends, Nancy Sparkman as their teacher and Dot Ray Walker as the girl Larry is struck by. In addition to the play, the Bop Cats, a teen-age band from Leland High, will play. |
