Just as I said to the folks eating lunch at McElroy's, "I like you folks better now than I even did in high school!!" I think that is what made this trip so very special. We are feeling that very special bonding that comes from the many years we have been together, and it's growing and growing. I am still on a high from laughing and crying together. The coast made an absolute gorgeous backdrop for the skits, songs, funny stories and amusing antidotes that we rehashed all weekend. Many thanks to Kathy, Leeanna, Benny, and James AND THEIR WONDERFUL MATES for the planning and prep work that made this weekend a dream come true. My voice is still hoarse from all the laughing! I really appreciate all the pictures that captured the weekend's many events. The Dronet gals put us in the shade with their impressive tech skills. And the King and Queen (?) ruled their kingdom well the entire weekend. The Mardi Gras theme was depicted through the colorful beads, Pat O'Brien keepsake glasses, and t-shirts. And that Hawaiian Luau - great food as well as sexy Hawaiian hula dancers. Who could ask for anything more???? It was great to see folks like Elaine Lindsey, whom I had lost in the years between college and now. Ole Frank Ramsey and I reminisced about the rides on his "Harley Davidson" in my neighborhood with Jim and Pam. Bill fumed all the way back home because he loves telling stories, and he felt he didn't get proper "floor time" being just a spouse. He's decided that he's going to move his "letter" and graduate from Leland instead of Cleveland because he likes our class much more than his own (who didn't even organize a 40th reunion). He looked forward to coming all summer and had a great time. I want to tell those folks who came from "afar" that I really appreciate them making the effort. I am so glad to see Mike Smith and wife after so many years. I don't know if I can wait another whole year!!! Looking forward to our next time together. Fru, Joe, Bill and I may make the next journey together since we will be a part of their fair city soon. My email as of August 6 will be cnisbett@faulkner.edu. Please don't forget me over in Alabama!!! Claudia Jackson Nisbett
